What causes thinning eyebrows?
It turns out that thinning eyebrows, is actually a very common concern for many people and getting older is one of the main reasons. This may be due to a natural decline in hormones as we age. Lower hormones can affect hair follicles, causing hair to become thinner and not grow as well.
Another contributing factor, is if you over-plucked your eyebrows when you were younger. Over time, plucking can permanently damage the follicle
and keep hair from growing back.
Lastly, it may be due to an underlying health problem. Here are some medical reasons, that you may have thinning eyebrows:
Autoimmune conditions
Skin conditions
Thyroid disease
Nutritional Deficiency
Certain medications
Hormone Imbalance
Stress/Anxiety
